CITY OF BOSTON ARTS AND CULTURE X STREET THEORY
The Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture (MOAC), via the Boston Art Commission and in partnership with Street Theory, is proud to announce the successful completion of Year One of a multi-year initiative integrating murals and other 2D art projects into public sites across Boston’s neighborhoods. In its first year, the initiative focused on Boston Public School sites undergoing capital projects, resulting in seven vibrant murals that celebrate the city’s diverse cultural, social, and educational landscape. As we move forward, this initiative will continue to bring new, original, long-term murals and public art installations to Boston, enriching its neighborhoods and public spaces.
